Privacy Policy

Take My Laundry Ltd (company number 17370050), whose registered office is at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, is responsible for the personal information described here, as its data controller.

When you register your interest, we collect:

• your email address;
• your postcode, and the area it is in (for example, M20);
• a record that you agreed to hear from us: the wording you were shown, when you agreed, and where on the site you signed up.

We do not ask for anything else, and you do not need an account.

We use your details to tell you when we launch and when we can collect in your area, and to send you one email confirming you are on the list. We rely on your consent to do this, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Our team signs in to the unfinished site through a form that limits how many attempts can be made from one connection. For each attempt we keep when it was made and a scrambled code made from the internet (IP) address with a secret key, not the address itself. We do this to keep the site secure, which is in our legitimate interests.

To run this site and contact you, we use trusted service providers who host the site and store your details, send our emails, and, only with your consent, measure how the site is used. They use your information only to do that work for us.

We do not sell your information.

• Your email address, postcode and area, with the record of what you agreed to, are kept until you ask us to remove them. Each launch email has a link to unsubscribe from them.
• The team sign-in attempt records are cleared out once they are more than a day old.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email us at hello@takemylaundry.co.uk and we will act on it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would ask you to contact us first so we can put it right.

Analytics cookies load only if you accept them. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie the site uses.

For any question about this policy or your information, email hello@takemylaundry.co.uk.
